Automatic central lubrication unit
The headstock has an electronically monitored, automatic central lubrication unit that ensures continuous lubrication. When the lubricating oil level is low, the user is warned in good time to ensure smooth operation.
High precision and durability
The guideways, machine bed and gear wheels in the headstock are hardened and virtually wear-free. This guarantees long-term precise and reliable production.
Ease of use
A 0.1 mm scale ring on the handwheel of the bed slide and 0.02 mm scale rings on the face and top slides enable precise work. Folding handwheels also make it easier to use the feed.
Solid tailstock with easy adjustment
The solid tailstock can be clamped and unclamped using a lever and precisely aligned using four adjustment screws. An additional clamping function ensures maximum stability.
Safety-optimized foot brake
The DR-S series is equipped with a powerful foot brake as standard, which offers convenient operation and increased safety.
Flexible digital readouts and special versions
Digital readouts from FAGOR and HEIDENHAIN are available for all center heights and center distances, regardless of the manufacturer. Special versions with constant cutting speed round off the range.
The DR-S series lathes have a three-stage gearbox that can be infinitely adjusted directly on the slide using a potentiometer. This allows the speed to be precisely regulated in any range from zero to maximum speed. This design ensures maximum ease of use, as there is no need for frequent gear changes.
The DR-N series lathes are equipped with a high-performance oil bath gearbox that features hardened and precision-ground Cr-Ni gears. This robust machine design ensures maximum torque and enables effortless machining of even particularly heavy and long workpieces.
The cycle-controlled lathes in the DR-Z CNC series can be equipped with controls from SIEMENS, FAGOR or FANUC. Thanks to their flexible configuration options, a wide range of tool solutions can be integrated – from MULTI-FIX steel holders to tool turrets with driven tools. This series is ideal for the production of individual parts and small batches.
